Founder
Shakira Henderson, founder and visionary behind Oasis Evolve Inc., has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a lifelong commitment to creating environments where women, children, and families feel safe, supported, and seen. A trusted and well-respected community leader, Shakira is passionate about cultivating spaces that foster healing, identity exploration, and the development of strong, healthy relationships.
Since 2016, God has been intentionally shaping and using Shakira’s voice in empowerment and community leadership. What began as Women Empowering Other Women in 2016, focused on uplifting and strengthening women, expanded into Let’s Talk Empowerment in 2019, broadening the mission to support whole families. In 2024, this God-breathed vision fully matured into Oasis Evolve Inc. a faith-rooted organization committed to helping women and families rise, recover, and rebuild with purpose and confidence.
Shakira is also a Certified Massage Therapist, bringing a holistic approach to wellness that honors both the body and the soul. She is a poet and published author, using storytelling, creativity, and transparency to inspire healing, self-discovery, and transformation. Her leadership is marked by vision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to empowering women and children to walk boldly in their God-given identity.
Above all, Shakira’s greatest accomplishment and proudest role is being a mother to her daughter, who remains her greatest motivation, teacher, and inspiration. With faith as her foundation and purpose as her guide, Shakira leads Oasis Evolve Inc. with bold vision, resilience, and a heart fully committed to creating meaningful, generational impact.
Jairae Taylor
Founder
Driven by both calling and lived purpose, Jairae Taylor, Founder of Oasis Evolve Inc., is dedicated to empowering women and families to heal, rebuild, and thrive especially those overcoming the trauma of domestic violence. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, completed the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certification Program at Johns Hopkins, and is a Certified Community Health Outreach Worker.
With 10 years of experience in healthcare, including over six of those years specializing in public health with a focus on maternal and child health, Jairae recognized the urgent need to bridge the gap between crisis intervention and long-term stability for families in need.
Jairae is a songwriter, musical artist, poet, and author who uses her voice as a powerful tool for advocacy and healing. Through music, spoken word, writing, and public speaking, she addresses traumatic experiences, speaks on prevention, and teaches families how to advocate for themselves and their children. Her work emphasizes breaking dysfunctional cycles and educating families on the importance of growth, safety, healthy relationships, and strong family bonding.
Passionate about strengthening families and communities, Jairae leads Oasis Evolve with a forward-thinking, faith-centered vision. Her commitment to empowerment, prevention, and lasting change continues to shape the organization’s mission and create meaningful impact in the lives of women and children.
